Carne Asada is my go-to menu item at Mexican restaurants. “Carne Asada” simply means “grilled meat” in English.  That “grilled meat” can be any number of beef cuts. Carne Asada might be flank steak, skirt steak, sirloin, or even tenderloin steak.
